history of the Malinois "vom Roten Sturm" |
| |
|
The
Malinois breed was developed by the end of the 19th century and
recognized by the FCI in the late 1950’s. The history of the Malinois breed
is written in multiple books, and our recommendations are listed in “Related
Links”. The biographies of the dogs listed below reflect the most recognized
dogs in our lines. |

Odessa vom Rowehaus
Odessa is my
foundation female—very high in drive and very committed to her work, family,
and puppies. She comes out of excellent bloodlines, has the power of Athos vom Hexenmoor
(her father) and an unconditional heart. Everyone who sees her work says the same
thing: “Wow, what was that?” > Full Bio and Pedigree |

Athos vom Hexenmoor
A grandson of Kolos des Deux Pottois, the foundation male of
“Malinois vom Roten Sturm.” Athos was considered one of the hardest hitting
dogs with the most commitment in the U.S. during his time. Comments from
three police departments during an evaluation of Athos, quote: ”If there
would be a competition for a dog that could take the most bullets and still
keep on coming, he would win it.” >
